Good News Project
Good News Productions is deeply invested in giving back to the community through the “Good News Project”, a program designed to target At Risk Youth. This program provides youth with direct respite and support by implementing weekly therapeutic and educational groups on various topics and issues as well as creating partnered mentorship with the community to channel positive role modeling.
This direct intervention addresses and alleviates some of the challenges that youth face in their community such as lack of parental supports, surrounding negative influences, peer pressure, impoverished living conditions and overall diminished self worth and efficacy. The Good News Project highlights the importance of youth empowerment by facilitating an apprenticeship curriculum during film projects.
This affords youth the opportunity to learn hands on skills in the field of Arts, Entertainment, Music, and Advertising thus increasing their knowledge, confidence and motivation to further cultivate their social, educational and career endeavors.
In addition, the introduction of our Summer Camp programs will allow the youth exposure to new experiences and diverse exploration thus increasing their overall belief that their goals, their success and their dreams are attainable.
