Founded in 2007 by Dahsheen Amin & Kevin Shamsid-Deen, Good News Productions is an independent film company whose mission is geared toward entertaining, inspiring, and educating the viewer without the use of gratuitous violence, stereotypical ethnic characters and fruitless exploitation of women.

Our ultimate goal is to create quality films that generate a sense of efficacy toward positive change while also empowering our youth. Good News Productions has comprised a powerful network of creative, innovative and professional independent film makers, writers, musicians, and photographers, producing historical and informational documentaries, experimental pieces, family films, suspenseful dramas, psychological thrillers, and romantic comedies.
